Stagecoach Summer Showcase 2016
Little Shop of Horrors
Are you aged between 10-19?
Are you a Stagecoach student?
Would you like to join us on a musical journey that will feed your summer with shoops, sequins, do-waps and horror?
Dear Parent/Guardian

We are excited to announce that we will be presenting our twentieth summer showcase production in August 2016.  The Summer Showcase is an opportunity for Stagecoach Students from the UK and Overseas to audition for a place to perform in a ‘professional’ theatre production.

For your child to be eligible to audition (via video or to take part in a UK workshop)  they must be 10 years old. The eligible age group for this production is 10yrs -19yrs. Students under this age range will not be permitted to audition on this occasion. Note: once accepted into the cast, students must remain at Stagecoach until the end of the Summer Term 2016.

Once all of the UK workshops and video auditions are completed the audition team will carefully select 80 students to make up the 2016 cast of Little Shop of Horrors. Students who are invited to join the cast will then spend two weeks from 29th July to 13th August with our incredible production team at St Mary’s University to rehearse and they will perform the show at the artsdepot in North Finchley, London.

VIDEO AUDITION / PHOTOGRAPH
Your Stagecoach Principal will  advise or help you film your audition and send the tape to us at Head Office, UK. All videos must be returned by 15th March 2016.
At the beginning of your video please say your name, age and Stagecoach School.

PHOTOGRAPH
Please send along with your audition tape a headshot (close up) with the student holding a name label. This does not have to be a professional headshot.

TRAVEL
Stagecoach is unable to subsidise travel to the UK. Students will therefore need to cover their own travel expenses.

The cast will be chosen from the auditionees and the successful candidates will be informed by the end of March. There are more than 12,000 students eligible to audition, and we expect to audition around 500 children for 80 places.
